Creepy Horror Doll Amanda

Meet Amanda. A disillusioned new bride. Used to having the best of things, she was raised in one of the wealthiest houses in Belfast. Her mother had been the head house servant to a wealthy family and Amanda was raised with the daughter of the house, Elizabeth, as a companion, best friend, and confidant. She was provided the same education and privileges as Elizabeth and when the time came, they were presented to society as debutantes together. Her benefactor also ensured that she had a very generous dowery. She soon met and fell in love with a handsome young American, Scott. Scott was from a wealthy ranching family. Scott’ s dream was to make his family’s ranch the biggest in the state. They quickly married and left for the US. Shortly after setting sail, Amanda became suspicious that Scott was not as wealthy as he had appeared. He had seemed very eager to get his hand on her dowery and their accommodations on the ship were less than what Amanda accustomed to. This situation did not improve. As soon as they arrived in the US, they began an arduous journey to Missouri where Scott had relatives they would live with temporarily. He needed his cousin’s help in reuniting with his ailing father and gaining control of the ranch. When they arrived at his cousin, Devon’s, dairy farm, they find that Devon had been killed in a hunting accident. His wife, Emily has been minding the farm on her own. Scott decided that they would stay and help Emily until she was back on her feet and able to manage the farm on her own. What was initially expected to just be a few weeks stay turned into several months. Emily became increasingly dependent on Scott and was not shy about showing her growing affection for him. Amanda had the feeling that her new husband was not as loyal he should be. It also was apparent that Amanda was expected to help earn their keep by working on the farm. Working on a dairy farm was far from how she had been raised and she was not used to the hard labor she was expected to perform as she was given the chores that only the lowest of house servants would perform. There were many nights while she was performing her chores, Scott and Emily would be cozied up together going over accounts, playing games or enjoying music performed by the farm hands. One extremely sweltering summer evening, wanting to escape evening kitchen chores, she snuck out to the barn loft. Feeling a bit of a cool breeze, she quickly fell asleep listening to the soft sounds of the livestock. It was not long before an angry Emily barged into the barn bellowing for her, causing Amanda to startle awake. As she jumped up from her nest in the hay, she knocked over the lantern. It tumbled below and landed just to the side of Emily splashing fuel on the nearby hay. In seconds, the flames are licking the bottom of the loft. Amanda jumped down from the loft not realizing that just below were several sickles and other farm tools the farm hands had used that day. Her head and body are gravely injured but she summons up the strength to crawl to the barn door to escape the flames. Through the smoke she sees that Emily is also at the door trying to escape but the door will not open. It was somehow bolted from the outside and they are trapped. As the loft begins to fall and flames are surrounding them, they know they are sure to die. Suddenly the barn door opens and there stands Scott with an evil grin. He had not come to save them; he came to make sure they were dead! Only in death did Amanda and Emily become friends. A mutual hatred for Scott bonded them for eternity. Together they haunted the mansion and barns until they drove away all the servants and farm hands. Scott was never able to keep any workers, and the dairy fell into disrepair and bankruptcy. To this day, they haunt the dairy farm together as each new owner brings a new challenge to see how long they will last. How long will you last?

Welcome to my version of creepy horror dolls. Each one is hand painted by me and is one of a kind. Cracks, imperfections, chipped paint, flaws, etc are purposeful to make them appear creepy, gothic, spooky, etc. These make a great addition to your Halloween and year round décor.

Every doll I transform may have chips, sharp edges, etc. These are for display only! All of them have been sprayed with a sealer, paint may still chip off some. Some of them have been purposely broken and glued back together or have missing limbs. The clothing may have been purposely discolored to achieve an aged appearance.

I try to ensure that your doll is packed securely to avoid damage during shipping. If damages due occur, it is the responsibility of the buyer to file a claim with the carrier.
